Chrisye (born September 16th, 1949/died March 30th 2007) is an acclaimed Indonesian musician and singer with an astounding 40-year career. Chrisye was born into an Indonesian-Chinese family in Menteng, Jakarta. The singer first hit is "Lilin-Lilin Kecil" (Small Candles) in 1977, and the success continues with "Badai Pasti Berlalu" (The Storm Will Surely Pass) movie soundtrack that was a huge hit.
